'adjust your clock and i reset mine one'

hello, everyone!

this is a quote that another tv and radio announcer use to say when the game starts! his name is Silvio Luiz. Very VERY funny guy!!!!

ok, from now on i must tell you i'm going to structure the posts this way
1st) i'll report about the championship.
2nd) i'll do a 'question & answers' section to comment the comments of previous posts.
3rd) i'll teach a little about portuguese or brazil.

just some observations about the chart:
-the teams which is written in italic won the match.
-the games occured in the first row teams' home
(for example, on juventude vs. paraná, the game occured in juventude's home)

... and some about the championship rules:
-the champion is the team which scores more.
-each victory adds 3 points.
-each draw adds 1 point.
-in the classification, wins the team which has a higher number of victories.

FIRST HALF (the championship)
04/15 - Juventude 1 x 0 Paraná
Common game, any result would be expected because they are 2 small teams

04/15 - Vasco 1 x 1 Internacional
Surprised me a little because Vasco is in decadence and Internacional is a very good team. But, as Vasco has a great tradition, maybe it might have influenced.

04/16 - Botafogo 1 x 0 Fortaleza
Two ridiculous teams. No comments about it.

04/16 - São Caetano 2 x 1 Cruzeiro
Well, if we analyze the players, Cruzeiro should have won the match. But playing with São Caetano at its home has already brought a lot of troubles to great teams. Good job, São Caetano!

04/16 - São Paulo 1 x 0 Flamengo
Actually, I expected São Paulo much better than this. But, reading the reports at monday (04/17), i was told that the team are tired because of the last trip to Peru.

04/16 - Grêmio 2 x 0 Corinthians
OH MY GOD! THIS IS GREAT!

04/16 - Palmeiras 2 x 3 Ponte Preta
Nowadays, Palmeiras is passing through a hard momment because of bad management, lack of money... i don't know if it will recover its powers.

04/16 - Santa Cruz 0 x 0 Figueirense
No comment about this too. Horrible teams.

04/16 - Goiás 0 x 0 Santos
Santos 2 weeks ago was champion of São Paulo state. but Goiás has a great team, so it was a fair result for both sides. but i expected at least some goals.

04/16 - Atlético Paranaense 1 x 2 Fluminense
Last month nothing less than Lothar Matthäus was Atlético's coach. But he left and Atlético has fallen down. Fluminense may won some matches, but it won't be champion. and you may kick me if it is.

So the classification is:
1st Grêmio
2nd Ponte Preta
3rd São Caetano
4th Fluminense
5th Botafogo
6th São Paulo
7th Juventude
8th Vasco
9th Internacional
10th Goiás
11th Santos
12th Santa Cruz
13th Figueirense
14th Palmeiras
15th Cruzeiro
16th Atlético Paranaense
17th Paraná
18th Flamengo
19th Fortaleza
20th Corinthians

SECOND HALF (comments of comments)
Reona, you said you want to watch Figueirense's games in order to watch the Santa Catarina's shore. Well, i think if you want just to see the beaches, fine. but don't cheer for Figueirense because you'll regret. The team is awful! hahahaha Here you can find some information, ok?

OVERTIME (curiosities)
Well, on the other post i told you about portuguese strange letters, right? Today i'm going to teach you how to spell them. You can do training at your home, in front of a mirror, if you want! hahahaha
a - in portuguese, 'a' sounds like japanese 'a'.
u
- in portuguese, 'u' sounds like japanese 'u'.
ê - sounds like japanese 'e'
é - sounds like the 'a' on the english word 'air'
ã
- this is an intermediate sound between the 'a' and the 'u'. like the english 'uhhhh'

i think that's enough for today.

END OF GAME (the referee whistles)
thank you for visiting and see you tomorrow!!
