BEM AMIGOS DA REDE GLOBO

Hello, friends of Globo Television Network!!!

Here in Brazil there is a man called Galvao Bueno. He is the main narrator of Globo TV (the biggest TV network in Brazil). Hated by many people, he still has some fans.

As Andy Warhol once said, everybody looks for their 15 minutes of fame, and since Globo TV broadcasts every matches of World Cup, many people try to get attention of the cameras, so they write big banners saying 'Galvao, show me on TV!'

But as I told you, Galvao is hated by many other people because he says lots of nonsense during the games (Nonsenses that I unfortunately can't translate to you right now). So these Brazil's team supporters sent Galvao a message:

(in english? 'SHUT UP, GALVAO!')

WORLD CUP TOPIC
BRAZIL vs. GHANA (3-0)
What a relief!!!!!!
In the retrospectives, african teams always shake Brazil's teams. But this time, Mr. Carlos Alberto Parreira knew how to manage his players to make a very nice match!
For the first time, I liked the game because the players were moving much more than the other times. Although they mistook lots of passes, many plays were traced.
Many critics said 'the defense was terrible because if Ghana attacked a little better, the result would be very different'. And I answer: Mr. Carlos Alberto Parreira may be stubborn, conservative but stupid he is not! If we pay attention, the defense system was not bad because when the Ghana's fowards tried to run towards the goal, the brazilian defense players stopped them. So their only chances was long distance kicks, a skill that is not good.
Just one thing: Roberto Carlos, get retired from soccer, ok? You were a good player. Not anymore.
And now, some trivia:
- Ronaldo is now the best striker on the history of World Cups. He broke a 32-year record. He scored 17 goals, beating Gerd Müller.
- Brazil scored its 201th goal on the history of World Cups.
- Cafu also broke a record. He is the player who played the higher number of matches.

SPAIN vs. FRANCE (1-3)
Pfffffffff........ What a shame!!!
Spain, what happened to you?!?!?! Scared again, huh?
As Formula One racer Michael Schumacher said once "it's time to differ men from boys".
Sorry, try again in 2010. As men, please.
France, just one message: the 1998 match wasn't forgotten by us! We will give you back that 3-0!!!

Reona: Thank you! For the comment and for the compliment! If Brazil is the the champion, tell them all that stuff! They will be so drunk and happy that they will answer you with a big smile on their faces! hahaha
And thank you for the research! Yes, they are called as Azzurri because they are blue (it means 'the blues' in italian). And the team is also known as 'squadra azzura' (something like 'blue army'). I asked my friend and he told me that although the Italian flag doesn't have the blue color, it is a tribute to the Savoia House, the last dinasty of monarchy in Italy, because their army uniform was blue.
Take care!!!
